One of the best things that you can do for SEO (search engine optimization) is to install a plugin that helps drive traffic to your website. It’s like that pyramid thing–you tell your friends, your friends tell their friends, their friends tell their friends and on and on, all from one click of a button. Multiply that by four or five buttons and, well, you get the picture.
I’ve had a few readers ask me where I got the neat social media bar at the bottom of my post – it’s super easy. Inside your WordPress.org go to Plugins; then type Sociable in the search bar. Once it comes up (along with several other options) it is version 4.2.6 and it’s by Blogplay. Click on install now then on activate – very simple, and yet, oh so effective!
You’ve got a great product, in my case my books, that will not sell if people do not hear about it, so work hard on optimizing your site! Get your brand out!
Thanks for the great tip, Theresa!
You’re welcome Cindy! 🙂
This plug in seems more user friendly than the one I’m using. I’ll add it to my to do list!
Donna, your question made me rush right over to my own blog and see what is available. I found two under the Featured tab in Gadgets (after you click add a gadget in your layout). One is Share it, which I seem to have added in the past, but which I have now removed because I like the other better; the other is AddThis, which I have done. I’ve even used it!
Does Blogger have something like this?
They may have – have you checked through all their widgets?
